Senior .Net Developer - Sacramento, CA
Job Description: Kiefer Consulting is currently accepting applications for senior level .Net Developers to lead system analysis, technical design, implementation and maintenance of business web applications to support both public and private sector project activities. The individual must be able to work closely with others to facilitate integration of new and existing systems and where necessary participate in a agile implementation approach of new applications using standard development tools and methodologies. Activities include but are not limited to: · Hands-on new development as well as support, maintenance or enhancement of existing applications. · Develop portal-based solutions to support various work-flow activities · Work closely with business process owners to identify business requirements, processes and build solutions to support process attainment. · Research and evaluate alternative technologies / solutions and make recommendations. Minimum Requirements: · Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience or specialized training) in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), Software Engineering, or related discipline. · 3 years experience working on projects for the State of California · 4 years relevant software development work experience · 3 years of experience using C#, VB.NET, and .NET framework, Dot Net Nuke, SharePoint or Equivalent Portal experience · Web Service development and XML · MS SQL Server/Transact SQL · Stored procedure coding · 3 years of experience using version control system, e.g. Microsoft Visual Source Safe (VSS) · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. · Ability to work independently as a self-starter, and within a team environment.
