Afternoon Session: Microsoft Office SharePoint 2007
Join presenter Greg Kiefer in this session and learn how you can better manage your critical business content and processes with SharePoint 2007. By taking advantage of the many tools and integration features available out-of-the-box through this product, learn how to leverage business intelligence features such as score carding through Excel Services for SharePoint. Also, get a developer's perspective and demonstration from presenter Scott Oliver on building custom webparts.
About Scott Wold:
Scott Wold has over 20 years of government experience. As the former webmaster for the County of San Bernardino, he has led numerous web development projects and has provided support throughout his career for the majority of departments within that county. His government service led him to Microsoft, where now as a Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) Architect, Scott is able to offer his expertise in the use of Microsoft enterprise technologies to State and Local Government sector agencies and organizations.
About Scott Oliver:
Scott Oliver is a senior .NET developer with over 17 years of design and development experience with large-scale system integrators such as NEC and Intel. Past projects include the AFIS fingerprint identification architecture and API's, fingerprint scanning workstations, and large electronic document archive repositories, all currently in use by law enforcement agencies around the world. As a senior consultant with Kiefer Consulting, Scott has since expanded his development expertise to include Microsoft Office SharePoint solutions and technologies.
About Greg Kiefer:
Greg Kiefer (MBA, PMP) is a leading expert in application development and system integration. He has published numerous articles on application design, software development techniques, and project management. For nearly two decades, he has managed a highly-respected consulting firm that develops software applications and provides innovative approaches for customers to meet the growing need to leverage technology when solving business problems. Mr. Kiefer has a master's degree in Business Administration and remains concentrated on information technology development. He serves on both the GTC Advisory Council and the CIO Academy advisory committees and teaches classes in Project Managerment at UC Davis. His organization is a Microsoft Gold Partner.
