Kiefer Consulting’s Year In Review: 2017

Happy New Year!

As I look back on 2017, I am very proud of what Kiefer Consulting has been able to accomplish.  Here are a few highlights from this past year.

Best Places to Work 2017 Finalist

Kiefer was recognized by the Sacramento Business Journal as one of the “Best Places to Work” in the Sacramento area.  This is a designation and honor that means a lot to me.  I truly appreciate each and every employee at Kiefer Consulting and I’ve made employee satisfaction a priority.  I still haven’t forgiven Brian Wallace for signing me up to play the Native American flute at the awards luncheon, but I plan on getting him back in 2018.

Nintex Solution Award Finalist

Our strategic partner, Nintex, presented us with an award that recognized a solution we built for our client, Covered California.  Being recognized by a partner is meaningful to our entire organization.  The time and energy that our team invests in learning the product, educating our customers and building solutions on the platform is significant.  Winning an award like this makes it all worthwhile!

Top 10 IT Consulting Company Recognition (Sacramento Business Journal)

Kiefer was recognized by the Sacramento Business Journal as one of the top 10 IT Consulting Companies in the Sacramento area.  We neglected to submit in 2016, so it shows that we are new to the list.  We held the number 9 spot in 2017 and we are aiming to move up the ranks in 2018.

New & Current Customers

We couldn’t be getting ready to celebrate 30 years in business if it wasn’t for customers.  We appreciate our customers, their loyalty, and the opportunity to work with many outstanding people.  We look forward to working with both new and current clients in 2018.

New Employees

We welcomed 4 new employees to the Kiefer family.  It’s always great to add new talent and see our work family grow.  Welcome Terrie, Jason, Lauren, and Eric.  It’s great having you on the team!

Connecting with our Communities

As an organization, we believe that it is important to give back to your community.  In 2017, we did just that.  We are highly invested in our professional communities and are active in organizations like the Project Management Institute, SharePoint User Groups, and the American Marketing Association.  We are also active in supporting area non-profits like the Folsom Cordova Community Partnership, Folsom’s Hope, and the Rancho Cordova Symphony.  Many of our employees volunteer their time with other community organizations as well.  We will continue to make these very important investments in 2018.

2018 will be a very exciting year for Kiefer Consulting.  This year marks our 30th anniversary, a milestone that must be celebrated.  It’s been an amazing journey and we’ve accomplished a lot in the last 30 years.  This is a very exciting time and it’s a wonderful opportunity to do some very remarkable things.  We’ll continue to use our blog and social media to share our wins, accomplishments, and recognition throughout 2018.  Be sure to follow us!

I’d like to take this opportunity wish you all a Happy New Year in 2018.  May you and your family enjoy good health, happiness, success, and prosperity in the coming year!  Here’s to a great start to a great 2018!
