As education is one of the essential aspects of life, it is important that students receive the best education possible. However, due to a lack of funding, teachers are often unable to provide the necessary materials and resources for their students. Donors Choose is a non-profit organization that addresses this problem by connecting teachers with potential donors to fund unfunded classroom projects.
At the end of last year, Kiefer employees selected several unfunded classroom projects through Donors Choose and donated over $5,000 to classrooms in need. This initiative allowed employees to make a direct impact on the lives of students and teachers by providing them with the necessary resources to succeed.

The process was simple. Employees were able to browse through various classroom projects and choose which ones they wanted to support. Employees were able to fund projects ranging from purchasing books for a classroom library to buying scientific equipment for a lab.
This initiative has made significant impact and has provided much-needed support to teachers and students.. By contributing to these projects, employees at Kiefer are not only helping students learn and grow but also showing their support for the teaching community. Kiefer’s participation with Donors Choose also demonstrates Kiefer’s desire to make a positive impact in our community. By supporting education through Donors Choose, Kiefer is not only contributing to the development of society but also investing in the future of our communities.
In addition to the impact on students and teachers, contributing to these classroom projects has been personally fulfilling for our employees. It provided them with an opportunity to give back and make a difference. In addition, it provides employees with a sense of connection and pride in their workplace, as they can see the direct impact of their contributions.
